Calvert Foundation logo

Calvert Foundation is a great fan of Shared Interest. We believe that support for post-apartheid South Africa is very dear to the heart of all SRI investors. Shared Interest makes it possible for us to promote microenterprise and low-income housing, both central to creating a just and participatory society, while mitigating against thorny foreign exchange and other country-risk factors. Shared Interest provides a great service—linking the Socially Responsible.

Clinton Global Initiative

A Poverty Alleviation Commitment was made to Shared Interest through the Clinton Global Initiative. The 2005 commitment for “Escape from Poverty” included an investment in the guarantee loan fund and a ten year pledge for operating support.
